I think it’s totally fine. It’s not ivory? I disagree with comments about staying away from champagne and yellow. I’ve been to too many weddings to count and seen plenty of people in the summer wear champagne and yellow.
It’s so cute and not at all close to white or even ivory! People are so ridiculous lol I see women wear champagne and tan to weddings all the time
It's a close call, but I would stay away from this color since it is pretty light, and champagne-colored wedding dresses are currently popular
It’s photographing like a dark champagne or gold so she would be perfectly fine. Kudos to a bride if they chose to be unconventional and pick a champagne colored dress but then she’s crossing into a new realm and can’t expect every guest to know that and oblige to conform to that trend. Are all the grandmothers and older aunties going to weddings supposed to know that new trend and stay away from wearing that color? Might as well say I’m wearing a pink dress therefore no one can wear any form of pink. Ridiculous.

I generally stay away from any form of white, cream, beige, or yellow just to be on the safe side. This would be a no for me unless the bride requested guests to wear a certain color/color family.

Not at all close to white or ivory, and brides really can't claim all neutral or pastel colors. Also, NO ONE will mistake you for the bride in this. It's beautiful, but no one is upstaging the bride on her wedding day. People need to get a grip.
This is a beautiful gold dress. Color is a non-issue.
thank you everyone for input! I’m going to see what it looks like in person, see if i can find out bridesmaid color dresses, etc. I’m a plus 1 so i don’t feel comfy reaching out to bride directly tbh!
The color is completely fine. Nowhere near white.
Though it is a popular color for the bridal party. Make sure they’re not always wearing that.
I really like this dress, where is it from?
yes EY linked it before i could! ^
Perfect!
It’s fine. Nice colour!
Considering it photographs as a darker champagne then you’ll be perfectly fine - in person it’ll be a different enough color not to conflict with the bride.
I agree I think this is perfectly fine to wear!!!
It’s super cute!!! I think it’s fine. If you want to be super safe maybe ask what the bridesmaids are wearing just to make sure that you don’t match them too much
Check with the bride. Doesn’t matter what WE think
Anything other that WHITE ( unless requested by Bride for guests to wear white) and RED (red is considered a showstopper color and has been known as an upstaging hue … i.e “lady in Red”).

I just bought $1000 in dresses from petal and pup and they were all bad - so OP order early enough to be able to try it in and go shopping

It sure doesn’t feel like it! After this I spent a whole day at an outlet and went into every store. Came home with 0 items. Everything was “almost” good. Then i went into a few fancier stores (theory etc) the next day and came back with nothing cause the clothes were hundreds of dollars but not amazing. Eventually got some summer dresses at H& M that fit well but you can tell they won’t last very long.
I would wear it! Only white and variants are off limits imo
As long as it’s not white or ivory, you’re fine. This dress is cute and I wore something similar to a wedding one time.
Wonderful dress!
