Hey guys- I have an intern buddy who was assigned to me and they’re just down the block from me. They want to meet up and I feel awful because they came to the city to intern and they don’t know anyone. It is not policy to meet up rn but if I was to just meet the person in a park for a coffee is that not a good move?
Is it possible to have good performance reviews but not receive a full time offer after a summer internship?
Is taking an internship at a very good/very big agency worth It? Any horror stories of not getting a job and screwing yourself after an internship concludes?
For those who did the One Clubs “Mentor and Creative” program, do we put it as an internship with whatever agency or company that hosted us. So, for instance, if you were mentored by some Google CDs for 6 weeks to create an ad campaign that you pitched and might get produce, would you put in your resume or LinkedIn “Google internship.” Does it qualify as an internship cause I’ve seen multiple students put it as an internship.
Am I making a mistake? Thinking about signing with Strategy& and giving up my 2nd year bschool reimbursement ($80k) from my internship.
Last summer I mentored an intern who was later taken on full-time by a different team at our agency. Today I found out he has a 2 month shoot in Tahiti while I'm here stuck making banners. I know...
Potentially a dumb question, but for the employment history part of the application, should you include internships? If so, do you annualize the amount of your internship pay? I’ve included them in my resume but feels a little weird to put them at the same level as my first full time job.
Joining KPMG as an intern in healthcare advisory practice. Considering that I am in a MHA program (healthcare administration) any way to leverage to receive an offer as a senior associate?
I'm going to be in a tax group in the summer (intern) and was wondering how a specialist tax group would fare in this economy? It's under the tax umbrella but has consulting elements (m&a tax)
Perpetually an intern... working at the same company for 1.5+ years and easily doing the work of a junior creative, & taking the heat off my CDs daily; sometimes I’m the only AD on big jobs. I’m not making a livable wage & I’ve undercut my soul, free time, and financial stability with no end in sight. My teammates always really appreciate my hustle and insights. It makes me wonder what else I could possibly do. Put on more make up? Start poppin adderal? I’m joking... but what would you do?
When the intern doesn’t get that return offer...

Curious as to what the views on canibas (medical & recreational use) are in the finance industry. From what I've seen, it's a stigma compared to alcohol, but maybe it just appears that way?
I just got promoted over a friend and I am really worried about how this will impact her. To be honest I think she is even more deserving of the promotion than me. What do I do to make it better so our friendship isn’t poisoned by this?
Currently interviewing with Deloitte S&O, what are the salary bands like for a consultant? They are saying they can't bring me in as a senior consultant because I don't meet the 5 yr work experience
What do you think will be the impact of this rapid hiring for MBB? MBB is hiring so rapidly. When it cools down, do you think MBB will realize they over hired? Will it become harder for associates (post MBA) to get promoted? Will it become more competitive for Associates to get staffed on projects they want to be on? Will there just be too many consultants at the Firm and a mass layoff? McKinsey & Company Bain & Company Boston Consulting Group
I gave my L1 and L2 interview today in EY and is their more chance to get selected? Please those who gave interview recently kindly comment your view so that it will be helpful.

Greater abuse of time and personal freedom, less encouragement of empathy from leaders, delusions of far greater diversity accomplishments, lack of clarity and communication… How to clear the air and establish structure from afar… or GTFO?
I’m a new associate at BCG - started two weeks ago and I have no how idea if im doing well or not. Those who have evaluated switches from Consulting to Startups - any advice? Was offered a Bus Ops Assc. role at a Series A FinTech which is where I desire to take my career. Main item I am having trouble disaggregating is, by taking this role am I potentially taking a step back (likely promo Manager next year)? In one sense, I feel I could develop more in the startup role though moving to a IC role / 50k less salary if promo’d (w/ equity to be fair) doesn’t feel awesome. Lmk thoughts! Thanks.
