Any idea about the WFH policy of opentext for coming days? As I understand Opentext not giving permanent WFH to any employee but do they consider any exceptions in case of family reason or medical?
Does opentext provide RSU (restricted stock units) to employees at Lead Consultant level?
And is RSU amout part of CTC? Wipro Tata Consultancy Accenture Infosys IBM Consulting Deloitte USI

Well Well its hard to take decision at this point but once you get PR, you should start applying there in ITs.. I am sure you will get above 130k then move alone for 6 months and find other contacts and apply for your wife.. Setup house and everything for them.
Spend 2-3 years and then decides to continue or not. I hope your sister is in Sydney or Melbourne where lots of IT companies have work.
Plus IT in Australia is kind of less but widely discussed so Chinese and other people will be your direct competition there..
Adelaide and Perth are less expensive compare to Sydney but very minimal jobs and less population.
If you choose Banks then forget WLB but still it will be better then India :)
Tax, Insurance, Kids Safety, Minimum Savings to survive are some points you need to check..
Last point: Calculate risk but not over thinking. Our thoughts has power to make even small mountain big like everest!

Having seen racism there first hand, I don't think it gets worse than Australia. Then again, it does not bother everyone to the same extent.
I have worked there, as a consultant, covered most of the major cities in ANZ.
Does not make any sense unless and until someone is just crazy to settle in abroad.
I thought of this considering these point
- my kid's education, cause now a days students are crazy to go abroad for higher education. And seeing this trend me and my wife thought to settle well before my kid complete his schooling.
- second my sister and many friends are already settled there. And with average income they are doing very good there in terms of investments and quality of life
You can go ahead to settle down in Australia as many of my friends are already settled down. But be careful outside whenever you travel and hang outside because some racial psychos may harm you ..

I went as onsite..in my project , wlb was bit tight.but most of the ppl have good wlb.
In Australia, IT scope is far less than what we have in India and most IT jobs are in Sydney, Melbourne. Sydney is very much like India in terms of population and weather too.
With that kind of CTC I wouldn't leave India No matter what. Festivals, Parents, Culture, Food, so many things we will miss.
Unless you and your wife would make 350k+ collectively no point to move with the current ctc. My wife and I are moving shortly.
