Yay or nay for the dress?
Is it typical for big 4 firms to take a while to reach out after one submits an app? For context, it’s been about a month or so and I have not heard anything, my status shows under review… all apps had referrals as well and they were for consultant and senior consultant roles. Any insight would be great, thanks! EY Accenture Deloitte

If you are comfortable with it… I wouldn’t. I think especially for work functions, you can either show leg, shoulder, or back. This shows two of them
As a man I show my face and thats plenty
I'm OK with it Coz I'm a dude and would appreciate it even

This comment should be the sign that you should NOT wear it.

Appropriate holiday party dresses based on this thread.
SA3, this is actually very cute. Just take the waist in some, add a high slit, and throw on some glitter or something. Sis cute! 💁🏼♀️
Does anybody get la*d in this bowl, even sporadically?

I’m married with 2 kids so I lead an involuntary celibate life.

Remember the majority of folks on this app aren’t very social people in real life and probably don’t even go to parties. You do you!
The last party I went to was in 2019 :( I want to party !!
Everybody so prude lol
No need to be 🙂

Nope. But I’m a dude so
I wouldn’t
If this is light shining through the dress, I say no. If it’s a dot superimposed to show which picture you’re on, then i defer to the others on this thread.
Lol @EY3 I see what you mean. There is a little bit of light coming through even below the dot

It’s short and the back is exposed, pick one sis
True, either pick short or long if back is exposed.

If you have to ask then..you already know.
Nice dress but perhaps the wrong event?

I wouldn’t. It’s not even about showing skin (though backless might be a bit risqué for a work party) - it’s just.. cut weird? It doesn’t even look good on the model. Not a huge fan of the metallic look either. I’d go for a simple, classic black cocktail dress.

S&1- yes, it does.
NSFW. You’ll be memorable, and not in a good way
Girlfriend, you do you. That's definitely not inappropriate if that's what you're asking.
But why? Upside is so low with high potential downside lol

Yes.

This is based more on my asos experience than the pic shown. The dresses are always so so short on me because I have a booty and the models have nada.
Usually for work events I dress up my typical work outfits. Like work pants but with a very fashionable top that I would not wear to work. I wouldn’t say this is totally out of line, but I’d make sure it was in the same range as everyone else. If the dress code is cocktail, you could probably do this.
Not sure about your teams but this is NOT work cocktail attire for my teams. This is something I'd wear with friends for NYE and not around my boss
