Any parents here who really struggled after the arrival of a new baby? It was a planned pregnancy, but after 2 years of this new life, I feel trapped and I feel like this is not the life that I wanted. I know I'll probably get a lot of mean comments here. Looking for anyone who might have experienced this to share their stories/outcomes/what you did. Thanks.

Anyone else kinda enjoying the wfh/lack of pressure to go out? I got a pay cut, I’m working harder than ever and things are uncertain but I can’t help but feel relieved to not be so emotionally drained. Maybe it’s because I’ve been doing a lot of emotional labor for others? 😬

I wish I would have had this bowl ten years ago 😔 I recently was diagnosed with ADHD. I have been able to manage this far with coping mechanisms but I recently got divorced, have four kids and a busy job with a lot of aspects that are new to me. Now I may get fired for “lack of attention to detail” and “missing deadlines.” I wish I had looked into this so much earlier. Pregnant wife is having small portion meals lately, so i asked why she is eating less than usual. She read somewhere that eating too much can lead to oversized baby, making the delivery more painful, so it looks like she may be controlling the portion because of this. Is not eating enough a cause for concern?

I posted here some months back about my ectopic pregnancies but today, I'm posting to tell you all to hang in there and God will do it for you. (Please don't insult me of you don't believe in God because I strongly do).
In a nut shell, we had baby #1 without trying. Started trying for #2 and over 2 years, I had 4 miscarriages and 2 ectopics. In July, my doc informed me that the only way forward was through IVF. I was tired and confused. I PRAYED! and continued trying. (The rest in the comments.)

I was hired to work at Pluralsight and started as an Entry level GTM Analyst in December. As an entry level hire, the company made promises to train and coach me which made me feel supported and great about my new job. One week into my new role, my direct boss who was supposed to be my coach and mentor quit, and there was an additional change in leadership. The event of my boss quitting, and the change in leadership led to a change in direction within the org.

Maybe I’m biased due to having poor luck, but why is dating so hard? Everyone just wants the next best thing and no one is ever satisfied. One argument and people sprint for the door instead of reconciling as they have “options.”

I thought the housing market cooling down would have prevented this or made it closer to a 10% increase, even with inflation. I guess it may be time to buy, but my wealth is tied up in stocks so I can’t afford a sizable down payment. Where did you pull your down payments from?
