I don't work in TP but when TP helps on our engagement or we look at TP it seems no more interesting than anything else you'd see in tax

Hi, does anyone have any good resources for reviewing deal/fund documents for tax comments? I’m more junior and am often thrown documents to review with little guidance. Does anyone know if any good CLEs or other resources that could be helpful in helping me to better understand the big picture when reviewing documents like this?

Hello Procurement gurus. At our place, legal team is part of the Requisition workflow where they read the contract provided by the supplier. Once they have okayed the document, they approve the request. This is causing some issues at our end. I want to check with other folks, where does your legal team sits in the workflow? I am an IT guy and never seems legal being part of the req process. Thanks 🙏

1992: Ukraine holds about one third of the Soviet nuclear arsenal, the third largest in the world at the time, as well as significant means of its design and production.

1994: Ukraine agrees to dissolve the entire nuclear arsenal in exchange for “safety guarantees” from Russia, USA and the UK, becoming only nation in the history to willingly give up nukes.

2022: They are fucked and nobody wants to intervene with troops because “Russia has nukes”

Has anyone been on secondment with Strategy&? Thoughts? Office recommendations?

I’m currently a tax accountant with 5 YOE. I want to move into a business analyst role I’ve applied for entry level positions (competition is wild) and willing to get certs. I have great hard and soft skills that should transfer pretty well. Any advice on getting the ball rolling? Should I get a mentor? I’ve seen a lot of layoffs too which kind of makes me wonder if it’s worth it.
