Is United Silver premier worth it? I never have enough spend to be anything above basic but I did a few trips this year and I am 875 PQP and 2 PQF short to silver premier. I have a lot of what ifs in terms of travel next year but thought it would be good to get. I may do a quick trip to lax or phx next month to get me there that will cost about $900-$1100. I work in a firm that is known for litigation defense. I’ve been developing my own plaintiffs practice as well. I am able to pay the bills with my hourly defense work, which gives me time to focus on a handful of high value PI case a year on contingency. I was recently negotiating a case and was told part of the reason the claims rep/OC was jerking me around was because they didn’t see me as a plaintiffs attorney. How many points? Caribbean Marriott Cat 3 property, 5 nights. They have an issue with the boiler so no hot water and shower stops in between. Ice cold showers for 4 days in a row 🥶. Hotel phones don’t work because network is down and only local channels work on tv. Last night they had a huge leak in the lobby. They kept knocking stuff all night to fix it and then left a large floor fan running. I understand it’s tough reopening so don’t want to push, plus they upgraded our room at check in.
