Hi guys :) Glad to join fishbowl and this community. Guys I have an offer of 14.41 ctc from a big 4 (11 is fixed).
Technology-Microsoft Dynamics 365(I am a functional consultant in SCM and HR; Relevant exp: 3 yrs & Total exp: 4 yrs).
My interviews in IBM are done and I am waiting for the salary discussion with HR.
What is the likely offer that I am going to get? Any idea? (My expectation is 16.5 lpa ctc). I will adjust my expectations as per replies here.
Any response is highly appreciated :)

I think all of them do track it as an important metric. It’s not really something to worry about though - most people I know across big4 firms are part of practices that are oversold and they consistently have over 85%+ utilization every year
Damn. At D, it’s 17XX AND you can use 3 weeks of PTO as if fully utilized? That’s effectively 16XX-high 15XX hours then. The lowest I’ve heard. I’m assuming bench is more common given the size of the firm? I’ve had “bench” for maybe half a week in the year I’ve been here and that’s probably the higher end of the average across the team.

Yes, utilization is a key measurement. Some boutiques may not track it granularly but that’s just bc of size, it doesn’t scale once you have a firm or 50+
Yeah, we’re a small firm, which makes sense re: tracking. Thank you
What’s is a typical utilization for SM or D at Big4 in Advisory?
Thank you Anthem Inc 1!
Scary? Nah. What’s scary is NOT knowing how your business is performing.
I mean I figured lol
Oliver Wyman doesn’t track util. & it’s not part of the review process
It’s a metric the firm uses to track staffing capacity but it’s explicitly excluded from the review process / no staff or manager can see their own util
