I’m a product marketer looking to switch into PM. I’m in the interview process for a senior PM role, but the product is not that exciting and I’m a little concerned the company is stale (it’s a legacy product and the company has been around for a while). Would it be worth it to get the PM title? (Alternatively, I’m considering taking a senior PMM or even PMM director role at a series A startup and then making the move to PM later on.) what’s the better move here?
Does anyone have a sense of what a knowledge management lawyer makes at a big firm? I see some big firms hiring for this role and requiring four plus years experience in at a large firm but I can’t find any information on what the salary would look like.
Would it be smart move to exit to Mitre for slightly better pay? If anyone has insight into brand reputation—debating whether it will be a long term mistake and to hold out and keep searching for roles in tech while I have the Acn brand name on my side
Been on this engagement for 2 years and feel complacent, fine to ask to roll off to something new?
THE BEACH or THE BENCH?!?!? As consultants, can we define this term once and for all? Let this post stand as the eternal arbiter of the question for all generations to come.
How do you get past imposter syndrome? Someone more senior than me is encouraging me to apply to a role that I feel totally unqualified for. I hate my current job, but I’m good at it and am scared to fail the interview for this new position. I feel like if it doesn’t work out I’m letting the people who support me down :(
Got a role at ServiceNow but will have to take a pay cut…is the culture and company worth taking the cut? I have 1 YOE

Any consulting firms that are hiring? Was in consulting for a while, then corporate M&A, hoping to (shockingly) get back into consulting.
Is it a negative to get rolled off your first study about halfway into a 4 month engagement, due to not having the necessary skill set for the next phase?

Hi y’all. So I haven’t technically onboarded for my firm yet, I’m suppose to start in 3 weeks. One of the projects I’m going to be put on requested to have a little interview with people of the team so I had mine today. The “interviewer” didn’t really seem to think I was qualified for this project at the end of the conversation (agree to disagree with him on that). Regardless, am I in trouble for not fitting his criteria/selling myself enough…kinda worried on my manager’s response….
Has anyone taken an unpaid leave on H1b without leaving the country? I am just really burnt out with work, kids and taking care of my wife who is recovering from a severe case of covid. Would love to not work for a month. She is on H4.
Need suggestions and your views. Currently at Manager level in DUSI and just got 33% hike. Currently I am holding an offer from a boutique firm which is offering a much higher executive level and 30% hike over my current salary. But since this firm is pretty small and setting up new operations in India, little hesitant. What do you think fishes ?
What are my best options for scoring small side gigs before end of year? I deduct lots of business expenses for doing some freelance work, but we had a baby so I didn’t earn any 1099s this year.
Currently preparing the TAM final round interview (RRK2, GCA, Googleyness/Leadership). Any tips that you might share regarding the three of those? Thanks

I’m applying to a program that sends students to various banks and PE firms. The entire recruitment process is highly competitive and I’m seeking advice on how to prepare/approach the interviews. I am starting the Breaking into Wall Street Guides, but am iffy on articulating technical questions in a concise way. Any advice (also regarding behaviorals and overall how to impress the admissions committee)?
Any creatives that have moved from NYC to SF have tips on how to navigate the shift, where to look for a job, differences in compensation, taxes, etc?
Any thoughts on ESPPs? I finished a final round with a startup who was acquired by a well known corporate company in late 2020. The startup used to offer stock but now employees can only buy stock through the parent’s ESPP at a 15% decrease of market rate (currently $300/share). Base would be $140K, 10% bonus. Do you think negotiating for more base because there’s no stock in TC would be a good idea? And any experience with ESPPs?
CMT vs CAIA? I currently work in sales for an asset manager and have an MBA. Would like a designation, one that’s applicable to asset management and has some status/recognition. Appreciate any thoughts or insights. (Also dont want to take CFA)
