A Great Doer! He doesn't want us to get intimidated because he's our manager, he wants us to think of each other as equals and follow in his footsteps.

I'd say a leader. Our manager is pretty good at delegating but I don't see her do too much work on her own.

A leader mandatorily have to be a doer. If he is not doing he is not leading, but instead he is just managing only. I love people who leads by example and I try to do the same for my team.
