Hi, I am a healthcare worker looking to switch careers into CSM, but I’m having a hard time leveraging my experience appropriately. I feel that a lot of my soft skills are easily transferable, and any hard skill can be learned fairly quickly. I feel like I can’t seem to even land an interview because my resume doesn’t have any customer success or account management titles so recruiters don’t even care. Currently have a hospice patient on physical therapy caseload for device recommendations to give her a better QOL in her final days. I go in to assess her and find she has a sacral ulcer. Nurse and I (the PT) agree that the patient would benefit from a ROHO cushion for her W/C. Hospice comes back and says they don’t cover cushions! This is beyond messed up. Bigger picture, this $170 cushion is probably cheaper than most items they’ve spent money on covering for her.
