Isnt it pretty standard to expect feedback from recruiters after going through a few rounds of interviews (good or bad)? What is the rationale behind dead silence as opposed to communication?

Sometimes, we get ZERO FEEDBACK and after we ask 4000 times, give up. Other times the feedback is so brutal, you don't want to know/it would be hard to form constructive, useful feedback. That said, you should at the very least get a "thanks for coming in/we're moving forward with someone else" email. But don't expect a lot of constructive feedback. Sometimes you're "just not a fit"

I should also mention, if I do get good feedback that would be useful to a candidate, I give it to them.

You should definitely hear back either way, but like CR1 said, sometimes we get zero feedback and then time goes by and it’s awkward af. Also, it’s been my experience that most candidates don’t really want to hear feedback unless they get the job. When I was a tiny baby recruiter, I’d give constructive feedback - in the nicest way possible - and was met with varying levels of aggressive responses.

When I don’t get answer on the phone my second option is to go to make a personalized 20-30 second video, and I end up landing interviews with top decision makers, does anyone else use video as part of their outreach? Is anyone attended interview on 16 July with TSYS got selected?

They are not releasing offer letter responding as positions on hold

Good morning. I am currently a senior associate in BugLaw, and I have applied to several trial attorney jobs in Chicago offices of federal agencies since the start of the pandemic. According to usajobs.gov, my applications to the DOJ and CFTC were “referred,” and my application to the SEC was received and my GS scale verified. But I haven’t received any updates on these applications in over a month. Does anyone here have any insights on these or on federal hiring generally? Thanks!

I work in a warehouse as a lead and doing some interviews here in there for supervisor positions. I've been offered salary pay but with overtime I typically make more. Do you think it'll be better to take a new position else where or stay and try to grow? I feel like it'll be more work and shit to deal with for the same pay.

What's the worst that can happen if you happen to be on bench for too long? I'm in bench for over 2 months without any project. Any suggestions and thoughts are welcome. Also, do they terminate employees who stay on bench for too long?

So I recently started a position with Fox. When it was presented to me in interview, I was told I would be working aligned with Fox Sports & Entertainment, not so much News. Now that I’m here, I’m seeing everything I’ll be doing is with the News team & makes me uncomfortable. No diversity, outdated software & process.
Financially, it’s the best position I been in. But mentally in this environment, it’s depressing & slow. Nothing innovative or engaging. What would you do?

I applied for and was screened by HR for a Director position. It wasn't a good fit but I was passed over to another VP. I had a phone interview with that VP which went very well. He expressed interest in creating a Director level role for me based on my experience and interests. I received feedback via a 3rd-party recruiter that the company is in the process of creating a req. and will bring me on-site for another interview. Problem: They changed the level to Principal Eng. What should I do?

I am trying to decide between 2 offers, BDO vs. KPMG. KPMG is offering about $4k more on base, the extra $1,200 in reimbursable items, and pension but Big 4 brings WLB fears while I love the time I've spent at BDO, everyone is great and I can't recommend it enough.

The big selling point KPMG is pitching me on is the MADA program. I really want to get my Master's and BDO doesnt have a set vehicle for that. Has anyone gone through MADA?

BDO assc. offer in hand, KPMG intern offer in hand.
