(This is kind of an ad, but I started the bowl, so here ya go...) Alright, friends, I'm a huge fan of the Southwest Companion Pass. I've had it for 3 years, and have gotten LOTS of free flights out of it!

This year, Southwest/Chase have made it so much easier to earn the Companion Pass by raising the credit card sign-on bonuses. I would be posting this even if I didn't get a bonus from it, because it's been so great and such a money saver. (Continued in comments)

Anyone hoping to get laid off? Either for a fresh start, take advantage of the extra unemployment waiting to find a new job. Interested in hearing thoughts on this, have had a couple people tell me they were happy to get laid off. Me personally no chance.

Was laid off in 2020…my bonus this year is more than my salary at Deloitte 😊
