😐💀 It really shouldn't matter but I was asked for my graduation year with 7 YOE.

What's a concise way to summarize this: didn't graduate the year I'm supposed to (2013), worked in between, went back to school and fnally finished bachelor's degree 6 years later (2019).

So is that still class of 2013 (prob not right)? Or class of 2019?

Hello! I just wanted to give a rundown of my current career in the civil engineering field and wanted to know some good advice/wether I’m in good shape or not. Hello, first post here. Outside sales, merchant services/card processing. I’m primarily a welder but I work 4 10-hour shifts typically then I try sales the last three days. I’ve done it long enough to where I’m confident and comfortable going to new businesses, establishing some rapport with business owners. But it seems like a lot of businesses see this as a waste of time, even adding services and cutting costs. I guess either I’m looking for advice or considering not doing this anymore.

Hi I had someone recently tell me I should have my education and certifications above my experience on my resume. I found this weird as I thought since I had 5 years of work experience that would go first. They said since I graduated college in 2020 and was actively in a certificate program those should go above my current experience. Thoughts?

3rd round with the woman who would be my direct line manager if I got the role. Content marketing manager role, she was head of content. She was late, underdressed/not too presentable, and unprepared! Felt like I was having to move the conversation forward. Lots of long pauses, and I did most of the conversation-bridging.

I’m interviewing for a an EA role to CEO, who is also interviewing for a chief of staff. CEO has alluded to me being a great CoS based on recent exp, and longer term COO and has asked if I’m going to find the EA role limiting. Do I address my interest in the CoS role, plus gaps in my experience or do I focus on the EA role and finding opps to add value outside of EA responsibilities without stepping on the CoS toes? I really want to work for this CEO & don’t want to talk myself out of the EA job

Hey y’all. I went through an exceptionally traumatizing experience a few years ago that has totally & utterly shattered my confidence, self worth, self esteem etc. I have a hard time portraying my work experience + deserving of a new role.

I recently got a job offer from a very big hospital in NYC. They said the offer is conditional on the “rest” of my background check. I’m not sure what that means, they spoke to all of my references already, and said they spoke to HR at my last job. It’s been almost a week, should I reach out or just keep waiting?
