It seems like each county/school district is responding to covid differently and the amount of pressure to return to normal varies. What's going on in your county?

Was Laid Off without a PIP but with strong positive reviews and delivering quality work. Ashamed of how EY Leadership is throwing dirt on it's laid off employees by emphasising layoffs were "Performance Based". Mean, Stealthy and Dishonest, COVID has exposed the dirty, selfish leadership mindset. To my colleagues laid off, its the failure of the business not your caliber as professionals. Don't let this mess with your self respect and self esteem. More power to all of us.

NYC is requiring proof of vaccination for all indoor activities. That’s absolutely nuts (and I’m vaccinated)!

(1) Has anyone taken a serious pay cut to stay home with their kids and avoid childcare costs? (2) Has anyone made a decent income as a new realtor? Serious question: Invited to a Christmas party tonight and the hosts are not vaxxed, nor is their family. They are also not very careful. Do you go or skip? Haven’t had my nails done since pre Covid. My cuticle are grown out, it’s bad and I’m scared to go to salon. But I have an event in less than two weeks. I am afraid they’ll push and cut my cuticle and I’ll get a million hang nails. Should I go twice in two weeks and ask them to ease into it. Or should spend first week prepping my nails/cuticles and then get them done right before the event? I am not good at doing my own nails.
