I think calling yourself a "domain expert" is going a bit far? I know consultants in public policy who've been at it for years before they developed a reputation as one.

College had more discussions around what was learned... There's a lot more solo research and reasoning on the job. Not a bad thing, just noting the difference.

I currently work for a small ~15 year old PE firm that's growing slowly but surely.

I'm starting to feel like I'm doing the same things, the team is not really growing, and my growth is highly dependent on the team's growth.

I've come across an opportunity at another much larger firm that is much older; however the leadership teams at both forms are very connected.

Would moving to the other firm be a disaster scenario or am I overreacting?
