I just flagged this.
@PwC3 it's not PC BS. It's common decency and sense! Being "anonymous" on this forum doesn't grant you the 'freedom' of just being an a-hole and not get called out on YOUR BS!
My concern is - what is to stop partners or HR from flagging and automatically deleting employee dissatisfaction or layoff posts??? Come on fishbowl, do better
Within the "no means no" post there was a very bulgar response. I reported it. And if you're mad.., well who gives a ish?!
Werk @EY3! I reported it too!
Yeah. That is someone's sister or daughter you were talking about. Had it been my sister I would have beat your ass.
FU and ur PC BS. ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ
I flagged a misogynistic/vulgar post and it got taken down. Felt vindicated.
I'm confused bc that response "no doesn't mean no" is still there
Typical. They (meaning firm leadership) thinks by squashing dialog that it doesn't exist. How disappointing that they are so thin skinned.
Different post of mine was flagged
If you want that kind of fun, go hang out in a frat house
You must have been the D person who complained about the flagging of the "no doesn't mean no" post ๐
@EY2 True ... Idk
I'm with HR for a company and they have asked us to do just that!
Ok I have no idea what you guys are talking about but is OP serious about any post being deleted as soon as one person flags? Seriously concerned about the censorship abilities brand mgmt or partners or HR will have
Not surprised that they told you to flag the stuff, but I would hope that FB would draw the line at removing inappropriate things, like vulgarities. This is a very democratizing app and prob the closest things that employees like us in the private sector in 2016 have to "organizing" aka bonding over our jobs and figuring out ways to be stronger together.
I have noticed that complaints about companies have stayed up for a long time, but stuff that was offensive (sexual stuff) was taken down. In my opinion, so far, so good as long as it continues. Also, based off of the above, if we just switch to HR, we could get paid to hang out on FB! Woot!
