It's a follow-up to my earlier post about my interview with a unicorn tech startup. I've completed all the 5 rounds so far and received great feedback

Yesterday HR called and mentioned that I have to present them a 3/6/12 strategy plan month plan after I join them !! She says she needs to close this in couple of days

I'm confused whether they are still evaluating me or they aren't satisfied with my performance so far

Which position is this for?
(Sorry, didn't follow your previous post)

If you can link it, that'd be great for context

No No. They actually asked me to present a general view of my approach to scale up the team and give a plan of 3/6/12 month for the same.

Nothing to do with their business

If you haven’t already completed the ‘situational round’ then it sounds like this is still to come. Good luck! (I don’t usually condone 5 rounds of interview for any role, let alone a start-up… but) I do think joining with a 3/6/12 plan in place helps give you immediate direction when beginning at a new company.

Good luck! It sounds like they are really interested in you or they wouldn't have invested this amount of time.

A plan like that is a good thing to have for any role you’re in late stages of interviewing especially for manager and up roles, it can be pretty high level. Get clear on where they want to be in 3/6/12 months and make sure your plan supports that growth.

Sounds like they are taking you to the final round of interviews. This is a good thing! Best of luck to you.

Man this sounds like an intense process, but it looks like they are still evaluating you. Best of luck with this one!

If you were a candidate that was reached out to by an internal recruiter and went through 5 interviews spanning more than one month would you be put off by the fact that the company couldn’t even have bothered to get back to you that they went another direction?
