I found out that I'm severely underpaid for my rank and YOE. Colleagues 3 to 4 years younger than me at a lesser rank within my same field are making about 15k more than me currently. The issue is that I didn't negotiate my starting salary hard enough when getting hired 4 years ago due to lack of industry knowledge. I just got promoted from senior to manager (in consulting). What negotiation tactics do you recommend to apply when speaking with my leadership for a salary adjustment?

I’m watching the creativity awards on ad age. I decided to take a shot everytime I see a POC nominated. So its been 35 minutes and I have only seen one. But that wasn’t even the surprising part. When they went to the Inclusion award that’s when I just started laughing at the amount of Karen’s and Micheals in position. Not one person with a shade of color was in the category lol 🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️
