Over the last three years my mfg company has had a lot of people leave and each time I take on the extra responsibility - from admin, payroll, benefits, compliance, safety, inventory and shipping. I literally do it all. And not only that, but I’ve eliminated and optimized a lot of wasteful processes in order to get it all done. I thought that it would all come with eventual pay increases since it saves the company over 300k in overhead. This whole time I should have been OE. I feel like a fool.

I am an aspiring entrepreneur and want to start a business in future for sure. I have a few ideas but nothing concrete, or close to being a start up yet. I work in tech, but a generalist - have done sales, delivery operations etc. trying to get experience in as many areas as possible before I go on my own. I dnt know where to start the journey. I felt confused when I saw Buttigieg’s name on the speaker list at DNC convention and no name of Yang anywhere. (Pointing PB out because he was mayor of South Bend, elected with very few votes). The speaker list was long.. so many people yet not a single Asian American was there. I was so confused. And some people said Asians are not in their head because Asians do not fit their box. I am glad he said something about it and got added but feel not so great he was omitted initially.. meh 🙄

Am I the asshole? - Mum recently asked if I could help my sister out financially and I said no. Tl;dr: Single parent growing up but mum hates me because of some fortune teller words, got custody of me and abused me. Sis lived the nice life. Went to therapy, worked my ass off as an adult to be independent while sis squanders her money on branded goods. Am I the asshole for saying no? Money in my savings is for b-school and I don’t see the need to help.
