I’m currently 7 weeks pregnant, so it’s still too early to make any announcement. I don’t have to work since my husband takes care of bills and since I got laid off with covid happening, there were no jobs to apply to. Now people are reaching out to me or I do see job postings that I would love to apply to, but if it gets to the point where I am offered the job, do I tell them I’m pregnant right away? Would they not want to hire me anymore? I want to be honest

I have been approached about new jobs, have found jobs that are perfect but they don't offer anything above the statutory mat payments unless you have been there for a year or two at least. As the main breadwinner stat payments would be devastating for us.

Pregnant with my first baby and I’m having the WORST sciatic nerve pain. I had a back injury with nerve damage when I was in my early 20s and at 18 weeks pregnant, it’s almost unbearable. My wife is 19 weeks pregnant and just caught the common cold. Was advised to not take Nyquil/Tyenol as not pregnancy safe and she already has lower immunity because of the baby. Should I be concerned? Is there any risk to pregnancy? Extremely worried. Was told to rest and wait it out.

Talk to me about going from 2 to 3. I feel like 3 kids is such a rarity in this industry that it’s daunting to make the leap. I don’t know a single person in my office with 3 kids. I’m feeling down. 😢 After 3 failed IVFs with the last one ending in a chemical pregnancy I sought the opinion of a second fertility doctor. She said given my age of 45, my husband and I had the same chances of getting pregnant with another round of IVF with my own eggs as I would naturally and wouldn’t move forward with IVF, only with egg donor. My AMH is 2.6 and FSH was 7.4 just this past month. Should I ignore her and seek a third opinion? Not quite ready to go down the egg donor route yet.
