I am going into a new company with a technology stack i am just aware of and which i didnt have hands on for. Will the new company know it when they are doing BGV ? Will the company also enquire on which projwct did we work and which technology did we work.
Please dont say that its bad. I worked in support project before. someday or other we need a change. I felt like I need to take this oppurtunity to do so.

It is a common occurrence P1. But I’m glad to read that you are not on the ‘burn people out’ train.
First mistake was asking. After 5:30/6p I’m an adult and If I need to go do something I will and if I need to get more done will get back on later or early the next day. We are adults and not owned by our company. Work hours is different but outside of that you don’t get to dictate my every hour/move

And if it was 100% unavoidable due to client timing (time sensitive project), then plans should have been made well in advance with team, extra resourcing on boarded, contingency planning etc to make sure as minimal impact as possible to holidays, everyone’s role clarified, each deliverable pre made etc
Manager seems like the type to hold to dinner with your family against you if you were to go for promotion.
