Take the offer with company A and push your start date out as far as you can. If FAANG gives you an offer before your start date with company A, there’s not much to worry about. If the offer comes after starting at company A, just tell them this is an opportunity you cannot pass up. They will understand, it happens.
Also, don’t turn down company A in hopes that FAANG will give you an offer. I was in a similar situation a few months back, where my first choice was taking longer than expected during the interview process and my second choice gave me an offer then next day of the interview with a deadline of 5 days to respond. I accepted my second choices offer for 30% bump and was waiting for my first choices offer which would’ve been a 50% bump. I followed up with my first choice a week later and the recruiter said that an offer was in the works and that I should receive it within the week. Well it’s been 3 months now and that offer never came through nor did I ever hear back from the recruiter.
Negotiate for an extended ddl with company A
SA1, I would consider what D1 is saying...but at the very least ask for an extension and mention to company 2 that you have an exploding offer.

Accept A. Then turn down if FAANG works out
This. Even if you're a stellar candidate, there's always an aspect of luck and chance associated with applying not a FAANG. First, ask for an extension to respond. Then, if they don't give it to you, accept, but renege and take FAANG if it works out.
And don't worry about burning a bridge: If they refused to budge on your schedule and forced you to accept early, they were A-holes and probably not the best org to work for anyway.

Exploding offers are warning signs. I would not even feel bad reneging one. They pushed a high pressure sale tactic, but remember that nothing can force you to work for anyone
When I need to fill a role quickly so my team isn’t dying, I don’t have the luxury of telling a candidate, “take as long as you need.” I started out wanting to not put pressure on candidates and gave them two weeks to decide. First four offerees ended up taking the time and turning down the offer on the last day. Eight weeks lost in waiting time, and it wasn’t like we had other strong candidates just waiting around for eight weeks to be called back if other candidates turned us down. So it actually extended the process significantly longer than eight weeks. I can’t afford to give candidates two weeks (or longer) to decide.
Is it just me or reneging an offer after you accepted it doesn't feel right? Your words have to mean something right? If you have confidence in getting the FAANG offer, you should turn down offer A.

Honestly, just leverage your current offer to get a better deal from FAANG
Ask for extension.
Ask to push out join date and onboarding
If FAANG works out back out of A
If for company A, you’ve finalized the negotiation process and all of that, and now you’re down to the wire you don’t have too many options. You can straight request that I am thinking through the changes or even say that a counter offer has emerged which is making the decision more complicated and may need another week to decide. Beyond that just running the clock out is the best you can do and accept.
If you haven’t, then there are a bunch of ways to stall via negotiation and buy yourself time.
Regardless, you should be calling Company B and letting them know you are on a short turn around ASAP for an offer and if the can expedite the process or at least hiring decision by Friday for you to make a call.
Finally if it doesn’t go to plan you accept A and B happens you take B, it isn’t the end of the world. It will look terrible, but the world will move on. There may be ways to soften the blow and blame something else, but you can worry about that later.

Going through the second round at FAANG doesn’t mean anything yet. I’ve gone up until final rounds just to be turned down after months of interviews.
Also, congrats on the big pay bump!
Take A. You can consider another offer when you have another offer - might be in a week, might be never.
Have you asked FAANG about an expedited process?
Take what you have. And then back out if you must. No one gives a rat’s ass about it.
Say you’re not feeling well and may have covid and need to prioritize getting tested, etc. and ask for the extension.
Shitty excuse to use, I know, but don’t hate the player hate the game... gotta use the cards you’re dealt
Just do some good things to pay it forward - donate blood, help a food bank, etc. to fend off the bad karma
