In interviewing for new roles I feel like my weak point is a lack of case studies that show data driven iteration. The problem is, despite me preaching and coaching to product managers and product directors about setting outcomes, success metrics, a/b testing, etc our product teams don’t work that way. Most of the time the response is a chuckle and a “At [this company]? What are we, a tech company?”

I need some advice. I am working on a huge return that I worked on last year and because of a lot delays, it’s very rushed this year. It gives out K-1s that others are waiting on too. When I ask for help, the manager on it this year never answers or says to ask the PM. The PM is also incredibly busy and rarely can answer too. I’m struggling and having breakdowns because this return is so important. How am I supposed to get this done if I’m not getting the answers I need?

The lead of my previous project refused to support me for promotion because I decided to roll off from the project ( although I stayed in that project for 10 more months and handed over everything perfectly) and that lead gave me a hard time when I was about to leave (excluded me from key conversation and even humiliated me).
