Hi! I’m new to this app and group. I’m hoping for some salary advice. I’ll be receiving an offer for a VP of DEI role at a large academic medical center in New England and it’s an inaugural role. What is an equitable salary for a VP of DEI position? 15 yrs experience, doctorate, and it’s the largest employer in the state. Thank you for any insight and support!
Thoughts on MorganFranklin consulting? -pay -culture, etc I heard pay is same as big 4 with an extra profit share bonus. Culture is more self starter, less rank and file like big 4.
Hello there! I have been interviewing with Amazon for L6 Sr. UX Designer role. I want to understand what’s the salary range I should be negotiating for that role. I have no clue what big company like amazon and Facebook pays for someone with 10 years of experience. Any help and pointer will help me with the negotiation. Thank you.
Client is looking to hire in-house and asked my opinion. What’s a good salary range for an IP counsel position for 3-5 years experience? Fully remote.
Dear recruiters - put your comp range in the email if you want a response. The Salesforce market is just so competitive that I’m sure just like all of you, I get dozens of inquiries a week. It just feels like a waste of everyone’s time if I don’t know what it is. Now that I’m actively looking it’s just hard to see where to start!
27yo that left consulting to go into real estate private equity. After 2 years of experience had to start at the analyst level and took a small paycut. Have an offer to now re-join consulting with a much higher salary 30k more at least. My PERE firm is small and it’ll probably take me 2-3 years to make those 30k back. Am I overthinking or should i pursue the money when the end goal is to retire as early as possible?
EY Audit senior with CA and CPA - 5YOE, $65k offer to xfer to the US Assurance practice. Also interviewing with other companies: industry and boutique. What is the salary range and role I can aim for
For people who recently lateraled, how did you go about negotiating a signing bonus? For context, I’m a rising 6th year in the finance group. I was approached about the position directly, so the firm isn’t paying a recruiter if they hire me. Any advice would be appreciated. It would be to go from a V20 to a V10 (not Kirkland). I don’t have competing offers as leverage, but I also wasn’t actively looking to leave
DXC Technology - Looking for some info on WLB, compensation, career growth to Partner (if one exists at DXC). Currently SM at Accenture. Recruiter reached out for Director role at DXC... Trying to figure if I should spend time on the recruitment process with DXC.

Attention C Suite: If you end the year without taking any of your PTO, does management take this into account when bonus time comes around?
MBB is known for fastest progression to Partner in 6-7 years and SIGNIFICANTLY better comp compared to Big 4. That said seeing some of my Big 4 friends make it to SMs in 7 years so MBB needs to amp up the meritocracy based promotions. Curious what would be the comp for a 1st year consulting partner in Big 4?
Are there exit opportunities similar to b4 consulting in terms of comp, trajectory, pace, hours but without the travel? Not interested in local consulting firms like Slalom. Do mostly shared service
I'm leaving for Bschool soon and have unused vacation days. Do I get paid for these (as a portion of salary)?
Has anyone in a smaller city taken a pay cut to leave consulting? I'm burned out, but trying to gauge if its worth leaving the six figures salary for my work life balance back. My city doesn't have as many options for my skillset
I'm looking for an internship at a management consulting firm. I'm a grad student at Stevens Institute of Technology, majoring in Finance. Starting remote at a new firm tomorrow after taking 3 weeks between jobs as parental leave after my wife had a baby. Can’t help but feel guilty about leaving her to take care of the little one all day and all night with less help from me (we asked parents to wait bc of covid). Anyone else dealt with feelings like this going back after parental leave?
Does anyone know if you can deduct tax filing fees for other states you worked in if someone has left the firm (can't expense it anymore obviously)? Asking for a friend.
Received a message on LinkedIn from a recruiter for a software company called Zuora. Anyone ever hear of them / interview with them?

Have two offers and unsure which to take. Ex Big 4 and have done software startups since. Option 1: Director role back in Big 4. Good package. Good fit with my area of expertise, focusing on tech solutions and partnering with startups. Working across all industries and clients. Option 2: Big Tech/GAFAM (level = L6 google/e6 FB/65 Microsoft, which I’m told is Director equivalent) Even better package. Account Technology Strategist. Less client diversity but using breadth of their tech.
MBB consultant here post-MBA (started pre-MBA). What are the best PE Ops roles (other than KKR Capstone) that like consultants? And at what entry point do they target consultants (e.g. Consultant level, manager level, etc.) and what level are they brought in as?
How do you respond to comments like “we just hire the best person of the job, regardless of race or gender”?
How bad is driving in the winter in Michigan? I’m looking to take on an 18 months project on the western side and considering staying at East Grand Rapids. My commute each way would be about an hour.

WLB at FAANG companies? I've heard it can be bad, especially at FB, but mostly from engineers that aren't used to >40 hrs a week. Any insights?
Anyone else in that post-final interview phase of constantly refreshing your email? I hate this haha

Any furloughs or layoffs at your firm? Moss Adams and Crowe seems like they let go 400 employees each while BDO implements pay cuts...?
