I just received a job offer and haven’t responded for this same reason. Also with the impending recession should we be worried about last hired, first fired?
I accepted but nervous that it won’t happen now. I obviously don’t want to give notice if the offer is on pause. The new firm appears to still be on board for starting in April but as we know things keep changing rapidly.
