Traveled for the first time this week since COVID and got the dreaded “do you have kids?” question at team dinner. Him-“do you have kids?” Me- “No, I don’t.” Him-“Oh good! That’s the right choice!!” Me (awkwardly)- “I still have time… I’m not even 30 yet!” (Team member who knows about our 3 month and 6 month miscarriages looking on with THE saddest face) Ughhhh. He had absolutely no idea and meant well since everyone was talking about their kids but gosh…I wish this didn’t have to be a thing😩

We’re getting married next spring and trying to put together our website.
Many weddings we’re attending this year have some sort of Covid-disclaimer on them saying “please have a negative PCR test or be vaccinated beforehand” (paraphrasing), but it’s the honor system, no one is checking.
For 2022, is that type of language necessary? Vaccines will have been out 1 year. The state we are getting married won’t require it (southern state), it feels like it’s on the individual wedding to say (or not).

I need some direction. My sister-in-law's mother has early onset dementia and is in a memory care home as she cannot take care of herself and requires too much care for her kids to take on personally. While in the home today, she had a seizure and fell to the ground. Per the cameras in her room, she was down for 25 min. She got herself up and fell again. She wasn't found for another 17 min. This is the second time this has happened. Does anyone have any solid attorney (continued in comments)

I’m looking for apartments in LA. I was looking at Vinz at Fairfax. Two people are thanking the apartment complex for allowing their autistic friend to live there. Do autistic people have a hard time renting? Sad if so & would appreciate the apartment even more if they’re accommodating to people on the spectrum. One review mentioned it’s a “homeless shelter to autistic” so I didn’t know if it was code for something.

Also, any reviews on Vinz fishies can share? I dknt always Google reviews.

Okay so unpopular opinion. Does anyone else think Covid is over blown? Like I haven't been following 99% of these rules traveled all over the country, even internationally, started a business, changed jobs. But people are afraid to go into a subway. Just seems crazy to me.

At the end of this I want to take the average death rate for the last 10 years and compare it to 2020. I bet it won't be any higher.

The beginning of my wife and my journey - let’s see what happens from here. We both came from very poor families and have had to take loans out to pay for everything. I just graduated from MBA and she from dental school, combined we earn ~$330k and will likely continue to see that amount grow and provide better lives for us and our family. Just a reminder that we all start in different places and no one should be disheartened by those who are more fortunate. Each persons path is their own.
