I just received my Christmas bonus, and I am floored. My bonus was equal to one month’s salary. This is my first year bag in the field in 10 years. At my last firm, my Christmas bonus was a target gift card. I honestly wasn’t even expecting a Christmas bonus. The firm is already helping me pay my tuition and allowing me to be flexible with my hours. I usually exceed my monthly billing goal by 10-20 hours. But there have been times I barely scraped by! Is this normal?

Hello all! I was hoping for some new insight or ideas, so here we go! I am a RN by trade, 10 years. My current role now functions as a House Supervisor. It’s shift work, running the hospital. We support/troubleshoot all clinical, operational, and facility functions within the hospital. So basically, we wear a suit and are the physical reps of the C-suite. Besides healthcare, are their industries I could transfer these skills to without starting at ground level? Thanks!
