I’ve basically googled every “fun activities during COVID” article I can find and we’ve done almost every activity we can think of. My bf and I just need some ideas so we don’t get complacent and the weekend feels like a weekend. What have you guys been doing for fun with SOs/people you’re quarantined with?

If either of you are into true crime / mystery, try the hunt a killer subscription box. You can either do the monthly option where you get a piece of the mystery every month for 6 months or your can get all clues at once. It's a great date night and a lot of fun to do.

Get AllTrails app and find new hikes in your area. Do day trips to area small towns and (safely) support local bakeries, farmers markets and restaurants. Try a new board game ... we got Azul and it's good with 2 people (up to 4 can play). Get a kite and head to a local park. Good for you two working to still have fun!

Yeah I want us to start day tripping again. We took some time off earlier in quarantine and did that and it was suuuper relaxing. We do alltrails hikes every weekend. I want more board games but I think he gets bored of them easily unless they’re really strategic/I don’t dominate him on them 😅 I’ll look up Azul though!

my bf & I lived in nyc but since covid happened he has moved out to a suburb to save money on rent and live with his parents for a few months. I quarantined out of nyc with family in the spring & early summer but came back to nyc to avoid doing long distance with my bf. He didn’t come into the city this past weekend to see me (I have spent some time out of the city last month with his family too) & to me that was a red flag that he’s really not making a huge effort to see me? Am I overthinking?

Although most ppl here are no longer students, but what do you think about the new ICE legislation regarding intl’ students not allowed to stay in the US if their schools go online-only? US is no.1 in COVID cases right now, very few countries have opened borders with the US, how do they think the students are going to get home?? Not to mention the time difference + no change to tuition

My dad is positive for covid (mild thankfully) so I ordered groceries through instacart for them. On top of the $70 order (with some marked up prices already) instacart charged an additional $20 in fees. Is that standard?
