I’ve been struggling with the same dilemma. The opportunities for freelance and fair compensation just aren’t as prevalent this year. I have a feeling it’s tied to the political climate and a shift in the industry/client budgets, but in the meantime it’s been a struggle. I’m beginning to lean full-time- if the right opportunity is there. It doesn’t mean you can’t go back to freelancing if circumstances change again

... i see the writing on the wall and take the full-time gig or hold out on freelance. The potential is there to make more money and have as much time off as I want but that’s not guaranteed. I’m mid 30s with house and kids to think about as well. What’s the consensus for you fishes? See industry trend and go full-time or stick it out on freelance?
