I’ve been a senior writer at my agency for a couple of years. I’ve been starting to take on new initiatives that have made it pretty clear I’m working toward being promoted to an ACD role that was open before Covid.

One of the other Senior writers picked up on it, and is now making things awkwardly competitive. I don’t really think there’s any competition, from a talent or managerial skills perspective. I just worry that things are going to become awkward for the rest of the team.

Any advice?

So, a recruiter gave me feedback that my lack SPHR or SHRM-SCP is causing my resume to be knock out by AI and human recruiters despite my position and work history in Multinationals and being in Technology. They suggested that we put SPHR ( Lapsed). I let it lapse in 2017. What is your opinion? Plus if I were to take another certification - should I take SPHR or SHRM-SCP?

I had a panel interview two weeks ago. I sent the recruiter a status check email last Friday and haven't heard back. I'm really interested in this company and still see the role posted on their site.
