I am working in Infosys from last 2.5 years in a support project for Oracle application. I want to up-skill but there is no proper structure. I came across CodingNinjas with a full stack developer program costing 1.25L and assured placements. Is this worth it to make the transition from support to product type role?
**If you believe i should not spend on the program, can you guide on which platform/tech provides structured way of learning?** Thank you.
Recruiter emailed ME. Reached out to ME. Wanted ME. I excitedly accepted. With a BIG brand so reasonably so. We were supposed to have a phone interview and she ghosted me. Why. This is not cool.
Any advice for interviewing with Insight Partners (investment role), specially what the case study would entail (financial modeling vs traditional consulting case)?
Unfortunately I didn’t get an offer from Amazon. My interviews went well in my opinion. Since the recruiter doesn’t provide any feedback, should I reach out to the hiring manager on LinkedIn to see if they can give me any feedback? Can anyone from Amazon comment please?

So general question I need to “translate” business speak into plain English. I have had 2 bosses now say they want me to ask more questions. I tend to be solution and Collaboration oriented and like to jump in. My problem is asking questions is hard because I have adhd and I’m trying to concentrate my focus on getting the information I need out of the conversation. So what kind of questions should I be asking? She saying I need to gain perspective on projects? Or. Please help.
The GTM strategy at my company is not the best or strongest. Does anyone have any books, articles or suggestions on how to learn more about this topic? Marketing wise I feel like my team checks the boxes but every time we are getting for a launch it doesn’t hit the mark.
So I’ve been in the SM game for about 2.5 years now and at my new gig it’s a huge workload. Any time I forget a small thing like a typo or wait till the next day to send an email because I was busy with last minute requests, I get called by my boss and the issue gets blown up. My last workplace was pretty toxic but it was my first corporate like job so idk what to do. Should I stick it out for a year at this company? Or will it look bad on my resume if I leave sooner?
Hoping for some advice re: job interviews. How can I respond to questions around measurable impacts of my marketing work on revenue? In previous roles because of lack of resources / attribution system we could only measure things like leads, attendance rate, click rate etc. not the actual final impact on B2B revenue generated. Very good feedback always from management & I believe I did a great job, but feeling I couldn’t point out to real final outcomes. Afraid this will hurt my chances.
How to handle working with someone who frustrates you immensely? I work with someone who is one level above me hierarchically and is an ultimate micromanager (not one agenda or recap can be without edits) and is rude about establishing that they have dominance. The more senior leaders on the team are awesome. It’s this one coworker who just got promoted and is now stepping on me constantly. Thanks!
To our Asian members, I want you know we stand with you in solidarity. These acts of violence are beyond words and should be labeled as domestic terrorism.
How are you holding up?
For those of you that are well established in your careers, what do you know now, that you wish you knew when you first started?
What advice would you offer to those that are just starting?
I am working as a Marketing Operations Coordinator and loving my job. I am very happy with my pay and the workplace. I have a little under 1 year of experience and recently graduated college. I’d like to know what are the growth opportunities like in a role? Anyone else start in this position and moved up? Or do people typically stay in this position? What does pay look like for someone in this role with more experience?
My career path up to where I am now has not been linear but much more fluid and unconventional I’d say. My professional goal is to become a Director of Marketing but am unsure of the essential skills one needs. Love to hear from others their career paths or unique journeys to leadership positions. Thank you!
Now this is some direct marketing that works
I currently work in a hybrid sales/marketing role. However, I would love more experience in marketing specifically so I can move in to a marketing specific role. Does anyone have a suggestion of books or articles, podcasts, organizations to follow that will allow me to stay up to date on the latest trends but also help prepare for a marketing centric role? Thank you
Just started a new job two weeks and I’m pretty sure I’ve accidentally pissed off a VP. Basically it was a miscommunication on who was doing what after a meeting we had. My boss (also a VP), myself, and two others felt we would do it one way - with me being the main contributor, and apparently the other VP took it differently and had her team doing the same task. Now it seems she’s annoyed at me/us. How do I salvage this?!
Hey ladies 👋
A few weeks ago, I shared how hard it was for me to land interviews despite sending tons of InMails on LI, networking, and applying. I made new connections off of 1 post on Fishbowl which is AMAZING! 👏 I haven't gotten any offers yet, but I'm optimistic that the right opportunity is around the corner. 🤞🏽
I'm making another post because I was inspired by others generosity in reaching out to help. Tell me what you're looking for and drop you LI url.
Any advice on meeting remote colleagues for the first time at an event? Feeling super insecure about in person interactions after 2 plus years working remote and forgot what working in person even feels like. What do I do with my hands? It is seriously giving me a ton of anxiety thinking that I will be awkward AF since I’ve never met these people IRL and I need to come off confident etc
Imagine you're looking for a remote job at a large company with a sophisticated marketing function, strong manager, and room for growth. Making good traction, but then you're contacted by a company in a niche that FASCINATES you...like you read books about this subject for fun, you'd probably love this job. It's remote, the salary is good, the manager is nice, but you'd be the most senior marketing person; the company is about 200 people. What would you do?
SOS. How do I know if I’m being paid fairly? I feel as though I’ve grown out out the “coordinator” role, but my company insists that I “prove myself” and add more responsibilities to my plate to show I am capable before I am promoted. But I feel like I already am doing more than a coordinator title, and my job title is just wrong. Is that fair?
Marketing Coordinator in PGH, PA- 4.5 years experience. Handles promotional and coupon strategy / execution/ reporting for email, website, app, SMS.
Any tips for someone who is about to manage a team for the first time? For context, I am part of the team and now they are coming under me so the whole thing will be a little awkward…
I have not been in my current position long (about 6 months), but after reading what’s been posted here I feel that it’s possible that I’m being underpaid.
I do not have a degree in marketing, however I have about 3 years of experience managing social media with proven success. These three years have mostly been freelance.
I live in upstate NY and make $19/hour.

From what I’m hearing. Hiring slowed down because it’s the end of the year but it should pick back up in January. 🤞🏿
I’m in a similar boat
Hoping you land something soon 🤞🏻
I’m in recruiting and we’re always hiring. Either internally (which, it sounds like recruiting might be right up your alley and if you’re good at it you can make a TON of money on commissions), or in helping you land a job. Message me if you want to
