Best firm to apply for to get an international Salesforce consulting position? (US citizen looking for an opp in Australia/ Europe)
Haven’t heard back from McK since I submitted my resume through a referral 1.5months ago (experienced hire). The person who referred me says it’s still “under review”. Is there any way I can follow up with my application, or should I just take this as a rejection?
I really really want to work for McK and have put in a lot of effort to research and prepare.. so I don’t want to give up yet.
Just throwing this out there as a ton of people are.
But feel free to DM me about opportunities at KPMG!
I’d consider my office/area MCOL. So don’t expect 6 figures as an A2 or S1.
Can attest that W/L balance in this office is probably the best compared to other KPMG/B4 offices.
Full disclosure, I’m seeking that referral bonus. But definitely a great opportunity for anyone who wants to be a part of B4 but also wants to slow things down a little* bit.
I am looking to connect with people working in Strategy & Analytics, or (other name: Corporate and Business Unit Strategy) under S&O at both Deloitte India and Deloitte USI. Need information regarding work, firms, and possibly an internal referral.

I applied to a position about a month ago & the recruiter says that they’re going to a diff direction at that time and will reach out to me once another same position opens up again. However, I saw the same job posting just now. Does that mean I’m out of the recruiter’s vicinity? Should I even bother reaching out?
I’m a bit self-conscious about what people think of me, and I feel like this is hindering my ability to act the way a manager should. It’s my first time in this type of role and I’m realizing I have some growth to do if I wanna keep the job.

Previously a senior manager in product/ analytics with 5+ reports and significant scope at a F50. Took a “manager - strategy” role with no reports in tech 6 months ago for better pay intending to progress back to people management but company downturn has made that unlikely. What should I use for my current title on resumes so it doesn’t look like I regressed or am too junior? I’ll be aiming for senior manager and director roles but don’t want the current “manager” title to hold me back.
Might have an interview with the legal team at a studio. Junior role, TV production, 0-3 years experience, I have about 1 year. What skills/qualities should I highlight? And what makes a good in-house lawyer?
I was made redundant and have found a new role recently, can I ask if anyone knows the job referencing policies i.e. what kind of info will Accenture share (end date, reasons for leaving etc?) Thanks!
I'm an investment banker and in late stages of a couple CorpDev roles of Fortune 200 companies. Both roles report to Head of CorpDev. I would be interested to understand the typical career progression. Assuming Head of CorpDev will stay in position for the next 5-10 years, what is the expectation of upward mobility then? Is it more common to progress through jumping around to different companies?
Hi All, I Accepted the proposed CTC from TCS but the HR discussion didn't happen for the position and location.Do they discuss before sending offer letter?

Happy New Year! As we head in to 2022, a lot of businesses are looking at new strategies to help contain costs, increase employee engagement, and limit their employer liability. If your a business or know a business who is aligned with these goals, I would be more than happy to chat about options. Cheers to a prosperous New Year!
I am frustrated as a Gay Woman who has given her all for 30+ years grinding to be the best. I have been in closet, out of closet, in-between and am tired of it. I want to be VALUED as a human being. I have gone from Rock Star to problem when people "found out". I have trained and promoted hundreds of people and been passed over for promotions because of not being a man. I have trained men with less experience, worse results only for them to move forward. If Diversity is important...prove it!
Does anyone here let their kids just read? I have let my kids read in Epic and a lot of them will pick the read to me books. I also have a large set of leveled graphic novels. My principal made a snarky comment today about some interventions not getting done. My thought are If I can get kids interested in reading that is half of the battle and letting them chose a book they want to read is sometimes better than doing an intervention they don’t want to do? Thoughts?
Moved from consulting to industry early this year but into reagents vs core life sciences. I've reported to 3 different people so far due to exits, mat leaves, secondment etc. so haven't made much progress so far in terms of what I was brought in to do. Our team is collaborative, and the team SME is quite strong headed. I end up making multiple iterations to my work (reviewed by 3 people so far) and feel like my point is never taken and always refuted. Is this what industry is like?
People that are getting vaccinated but not eligible currently; did you all wait for leftovers end of day? Or glazing over the eligibility checklist questionnaire ?

Is it better to quit or get fired?
Received 2 job offers, one ~10k lower than the other, but still a >30% increase in my current pay. I think the lower in paying job fits me better , is it ok to counter offer asking for more? Do companies usually have wiggling room for this?
Wife hates me. She thinks I compromised when I married her. I didn't find her attractive but thought we were a good fit. Married over for a few years with kid on the way. Need suggestions.
For those with company equity or unit incentive programs, is it common to forfeit vested equity upon voluntary departure? Explained as a “retention tool” but essentially held captive by a payout since the contract says equity doesn’t fully vest at 100% until the company is resold. If I quit at any time before a sale date, I lose all of the equity that has already vested. This was offered to a few employees in leadership but feels like not that great of a deal to me. Is this normal?
Seen a lot of chatter on this over the past week, but can someone with tangible experience explain their path after 2 years as an UMM+ associate?
Question for y’all AD’s. What type of work are you assigned? I’m currently feeling a little disappointed because I am mainly doing production stuff, and a lot of design work. Of course I know my way around Adobe but I’m not a designer. I got in this industry because I loved the conceptual side of being a creative and enjoy building decks and pitching ideas. Just wondering if it gets better or am I just in an odd situation
Which firm has the strongest US practice (true expertise, revenue/growth, range & quality of projects, reputation) in digital health strategy?

Is it just me or have you lost touch with most of your friends from high school/college? I’m 29 yo & coming from someone with a lot of friends, I can say that I now only have 2 friends that I can really trust and have kept in touch with over the years, in addition to my significant other. Hi fishies! I work for an early-stage Fintech startup called Fennel; (www.fennel.com) focused on impact investing as well as shareholder activism and giving every day investors the tools they need to make informed and aligned decisions. I'm wondering what others in the industry think of this space and about ESG, given that there has been a lot of relevant media attention recently & would love to know if people make investment decisions based on factors like workforce equity, ceo pay, etc?
Any MD ladies willing to share how they got there? Feeling so burnt out and unsupported.
I’ve been in corporate America and Finance for less than a year but every time I have interacted with a woman who’s an MD or higher up, seeking mentorship or advice, they have just been so cold and rude! I’m also POC and have actively reached out to other WOC who are senior to me and I keep experiencing this. I can understand being busy and having more than you can juggle on your hands but I do not understand the lack of empathy? Albeit my sample size is small here but is it just me?
Compensation Q: I am a financial advisor, licensed, have my CFP, 6 yrs of experience. I’m on a team w $1B AUM and handle all of the financial planning and estate projections for clients with NW up to $300M (only CFP on the team) & am the primary relationship manager for ~50 clients ($100k-$4m AUM/client). I am wondering what would be considered competitive compensation for my responsibilities? We recently hired another FA and we are being equally compensated but I have much more responsibility..
My boss suggested an internal development program to me that involves moving to a different team and likely a demotion. He later retracted and said he didn’t know about the job levels. Not sure how I’m supposed to feel about this
Hey all, what’s your opinion on providing 2 Week notice? Do you think it’s still standard or depends on the situation.
I recently received my start date for a new job, and am happy to be leaving my current situation- it is a very hostile environment. I’m debating whether to give a week or two week notice.

What type of resources do you feel are important for you to succeed at work/in your position?

Do you think a dress that ends a couple inches above the knee is appropriate for the office? Do you have suggestions on how to lengthen it or make it more office appropriate? I don’t typically wear tights but could in winter with this dress… I really love how it fits every where else so I don’t want to skip it! I got it used from Salvation Army so it’s not like I paid a fortune but still.
