I’ve been asked to pitch in on a gift for a supervisor who’s leaving. No price point was recommended because the people invited range from juniors to EVPs. I’m at an associate level, only been at the company for 6 months, BUT this person did have a hand in getting my resume seen. Any idea what I should pitch in?

Such a bad timing to find new position right now! I am sure I speak for a lot of us, but interviews started happening right before covid and now companies are delaying their process due to obvious reasons.

Had a first round interview yesterday. Met with 4 people. The last at various points said, “you stand out to me,” “you did good,“ and “keep with public accounting.” That means I’m donezo, right? Lol

I started working in an organization starting from June this year after passing from college as an IT Trainee till now its almost 6 months but still I haven't learned anything just the team members give me small works like testing code changes and checking database. Interviewer asked in middle of the interview that Is your notice period negotiable.. In mid of the interview another manager joined over zoom and he was in hurry to join some meeting, asked 2-3 questions and then he left...in the end interviewer said that If he want to take another round with him else will go HR session ...is it a positive sign?

I recieved a call from recruiter and she told me if you get selected and we are willing to wait for 2 months for your LWD. Will you sign an agreement stating that you will join us and not other companies?
Is it normal to ask? I dont wanna sign any such agreement which will prohibit me to look for better opportunities. How to counter her?

Had applied for BVS FS last fall. Met some amazing interviewers in 3 rounds, but due to sudden illnesses and bereavement in the family, had to pull out of the process. At the time, I wrote a polite email explaining the circumstances. Is it possible to rejoin the process? Recruiter (one of many) hasnt responded.

It's been almost 3 weeks now I had my HR discussion and submitted the documents, however my offer is pending.

I tried to connect with HR, she said it is pending for BU go-ahead.

Why are town Hall meetings so impersonal? They are all about awards / the number of people hired. I know FCB health is large, but we never hear from people who aren’t Executives. Last town hall, when discussing inclusion efforts, there were no people of color represented and one of the 4 pillars of diversity was centered around our “reputation as an organization” (that really rubbed me the wrong way). At my last agency those conversations were always led by people of color from every level.

Am I being under paid? I have been working for a SaaS company for the last 6 months As a Director of sales and I am making 130k annually plus bonus. I am responsible for building/starting and managing 4 different departments; Partner program, customer success, inbound/outbound sales and marketing. This includes building strategies, managing day to day, managing a sales team, build out marketing plans, and also producing my own outbound sales, yadda, yadda, yadda.

Hi everyone. Is it typical for the attorney to take credit for the work a paralegal does?
