Sometime I feel, orgs like Infosys Tata Consultancy Accenture and similar service based paying peanuts to employees and giving Fat paychecks to CEO's,, should be absconded by every other new joiner, So that they would stop giving 3-4 lpa and instead come in the range of 5-6lpa.

Wanted to highlight Prudential Financial’s hiring practices. They rescinded my offer once I attempted to negotiate the salary. The official reason given was that I didn’t “sound excited enough”.
They then admittedly gave the offer to someone who was less qualified. There were other red flags throughout the job offer process that the HR team should overall be ashamed of.

Common? Yes. Worth fighting? Eh….This is where you decide if what you’re selling has actual value. If the team hasn’t been hitting quota then this is a big deal. If everyone is crushing quota then it’s the company trying to mitigate how much they’re paying out and is common.
Yeah I agree with the above, if you are confident you’ll make the additional quota this is functionally a raise. If not then yeah this is bullshit
