I had applied for two job openings in Deloitte USI for ServiceNow Developer role and they rejected the application within 4 hrs of applying stating “Unfortunately, after careful consideration, we have determined that our current position is not ideally suited to your talents, experience, and qualifications.” Can anyone shed some light on this. If you are starting as an Audit Associate some time from now with Deloitte or any of the big 4, do they expect you to have passed/completed all 4 parts by the time you start? Received the Becker Reimbursement email from the recruiter not too long ago but have yet to start. I’ve seen plenty of people get to Senior at a big 4 firm without the CPA so I am a bit confused in that aspect. Any helpful feedback will be very much appreciated.

Been there. I gave 300% for 3 years and I left after getting several rounds of rave reviews from my peers and CD. I was outspoken, took initiative, delivered, and did way more than I needed to with nothing to show for it.
This was not just me, but most of the women in my agency. I was 1/4 WoC. We all ended up leaving for the titles we were already doing the jobs of, and for 50-150% more pay.
I'd start looking. If you care to stay, make a plan with your boss to see what they're evaluating you on
Good luck, you're worth much more.
That was me! I ended up switching because I just couldn't deal with it. I did try to be more outspoken in my next role but idk. Somehow I could only make the salary bump by switching jobs vs staying in one place
Did you move laterally or did you get a more senior role when moving? I’ve been at my level for so long that I feel like I’m overqualified when applying for similar positions
Also I’m glad to know you moved!
I was in the same boat! Honestly, I stayed put because it was flexible and allowed to have some semblance of a work life balance...but that also meant that I was missing out on money. I switched to get the salary/title bump I wanted, which is great but not going to stay put forever. Definitely felt like I was supposed to be "working harder" at my old job despite everyone else getting promotions etc. Pointless to stay in that case
