You don’t have to marry every person you date... meaning if it’s not working then time to breakup and date someone else. Only stay if you can see yourself marrying this person.

like

Second this after talking about it and it's not working. Would suggest couples therapy if you think this is your person and sex is the main issue

I mean that’s completely normal. That’s how it was with my fiancé and I. You’re both tired and that’s completely normal. You should suggest a night in. Order food and make it cozy that way by the end of the night of watching a movie or something you won’t be too tired. That can be done like once a week

Define freakier? I think I kinda agree with you.

Take a vacation. It makes everyone relax and you got nothing else to do besides the dirty. Maybe that will get the spark going.

likesmart

Is the routine the same? You mention that you might be more demanding sexually, but are you any good at it? Maybe book a hotel room if you can’t take a vacay to switch things up.

like

I guess I’m good at it. Haven’t been told otherwise. I think I vacay is much needed at this stage.

When you go on dates every week, try out something different like new cuisine, new restaurant or new activity and pay attention to each other, flirt over texting, wear something unusual/ revealing clothing to entice the other, so many ways to jazz it up.

like

Have you talked about it?

like

We’ve touched upon it a couple of times. It’s like we’re becoming an old couple. Exhausted with less time for each other.

What are you doing to spice things up then if you’re the more sexually demanding one? I had these complaints in my last relationship but when it ended, I realized neither of us made any effort to spice it up. We just expected it to get better magically (lol 🙄)

like

You’re right. I haven’t made any real efforts. I guess I should.

Do it first thing 🤷🏻‍♀️ sex is a great way to start the day. Just saying!

As part of the return to school plan, some states are asking schools to come up with a COVID “death of a student” and “death of a teacher” letter templates. (Utah was specifically the example I saw.) Has your state asked schools to do this? I personally find it extremely unsettling.

Anyone go through a period of just feeling low/blah/numb? I'm sure it's exacerbated by COVID restrictions. I hadn't experienced this feeling until the last few months of 2020. Any suggestions for shaking the "funk"? (I don't think I am capital D Depressed, although I have never felt this way before so am not entirely sure) Edit: In case it's relevant, recent blood work was normal except for slight vitamin D deficiency - taking a supplement at dr.'s suggestion. On oral BC but have been for years.

Need advice for my dad who is 57 this year...he is blue collar, lost his job due to covid, and was down to his last $100k or less (living off savings). My grandmother just passed and he is inheriting about $800-900k. He is going to pay off his house ($200ish). He knows nothing about investing and I have my money in ETFs at vanguard. Considering he will be living off this money, interest, and social security, is it worth it to pay a firm to manage it? Or just doa vanguard account w mainly ETFs?

I am tired. From past year, since this Covid has entered our lives, we (I & SO) came back to our hometown. I never thought living with in-laws for such a long period could be so tiring, frustrating, depressing, etc. I don't know why but I just don't get very good vibes from my MIL. She's so cheeky and nosey. I really tried adjusting, not overthinking anything.. but somehow she brings out the worst in me. I've never disliked anyone to this extreme. I'm not keeping well because of all the stress

Duties for PRODUCER vs. DIRECTOR on photo/video shoots? As an account exec, I'm the producer. I was really lucky for a few years to have a director who helped with every aspect of the shoot - budgeting, scheduling, shot list, even manual labor! That director is no longer with our agency, and our new director is very hands-off. I'm trying to understand if I was just spoiled with our past director, or if our new director is lazy... or if it's a mixture of both. Thanks in advance!

Does anyone have regular flings? How do you keep it discreet? I love my partner but he’s not that into sex and it’s frankly not that great because he’s gained a lot of weight and doesn’t want to change his diet or exercise. I don’t want him to feel bad about his appearance. I love him regardless. But ever since I went on a vacation with friends and ended up having a hot make out session in a bathroom with some guy, I can’t stop thinking about it. I thought I feel guilty but I just want more.
