1. Outsource what you can. If you can afford a cleaning service, have one come in. Being in a clean house is so important for mental health. I am going to be starting a new job soon and plan to have a bi-weekly maid come in and do the detailing that I hate doing. 2. What do you mean by support exactly? It sounds like you both need individual ongoing therapy and may benefit from couples therapy to help you articulate issues and how they're affecting the household. It's not your job to carry the entire household and yourself and him on your back. If you both need help, then seek help individually and build up your own surplus of mental energy.

Just got an offer for a Sr. AWS DevOps role at 145K, I will be working remotely 100% with maybe 5% travel, if any. No bonus with this company. I have over 8 years of DevOps and AWS, all AWS certs . Should I be asking for more $? Thoughts on the offer and how much more $ I should be asking for ? Current location is kinda irrelevant since I will be working remotely.

Life of non-immigrants depend on the Visa they hold and it’s so sad these companies don’t have a team where we can speak to someone immediately in case of a visa emergency situation . In EY you need to submit a form and wait for days together to get a reply from a human. Mean time you would have gone through 5 anxiety attacks.

Spent a year in banking at an EB but had to go back to school because of H1B visa issues. About to start as a BA at McK in the fall. Any thoughts on my ability to recruit for summer 2022 PE Assoc roles? Or do I have to spend minimum 2 years in consulting before making the switch?
