Why would you be surprised your body would want a rest after that? When you get back to it you’ll feel strong. Don’t overdo it. No need.
Ummm not normal that you had between 9- 18 hours of intense exercise over the span of only 3 days. That just seems way too extreme. You’re probably going to be spent mentally and physically for a while. Unless you normally work out that much/that hard for every workout?
Ease into it, going hardcore in the beginning makes it feel like a chore
Thanks all. I am not new to exercising and last weekend I was testing a special training. Will try to hit the gym tomorrow and start with a light exercise.
It’s called recovery, and quite normal. When I tested my black belt for Krav Maga, it was 2 days of about 7 hours of intense activity. I did nothing for about a week after, other than my bicycle commute to the office
What kind of exercise were you doing? What kind of cross training do you do?
Sometimes mentally we overdue it thinking we’re going to get some amazing result or outcome. When that doesn’t happen (bc how could it realistically) it makes us discouraged. Is that how you could be feeling?
