I've been fooled by D USI. I'm not promoted inspite of having 'Strong' 'Exceptional' 'Strong' ratings in my Impact Statement. I've joined in mid-2021 into Advisory as an ASA. I also have past experience. I see freshers on Fishbowl who joined at the same time, got promoted but not me.

What can be the reasons behind it?
Who can help me get my deserved promotion?
What all do you guys suggest for me now?

Just accepted a new position, which is also a promotion for me (from Senior Designer to Art Director). I’m really excited about this. The agency is great but is predominately white European men (at least all my interviews were), any advice for me as I step into this role being an immigrant WOC? I’m getting a little bit of imposter syndrome over here 😅

Keep getting approached by rival firms for ~50% salary increases in London. Raised it with my company and got a 5% raise. Don’t want to sound ungrateful but doesn’t scratch the surface of the underpayment of where I am, it’s well below market rates. Manager hinted at getting an offer which they could counter could help but, I can’t see them matching 45-55% I could get elsewhere. Like the work and culture here and salary isn’t everything, but unsure how to approach this. 26 YO with 2.5YOE.

For everyone asking how much hike can we expect at this rating(vc/hc/ec), please understand the below points:
1. Rating is only applicable on variable pay
2. Hike % is independent of the rating
3. Hike depends on a lot of factors like your current salary, how is it comparable to the market or the level you are in, do you have a progression/promotion, etc

I have joined deloitte in june as SA can i expect my promotion next year as LSA … and what’s the promotion hike D gives ? Should I be here for long time or should start looking for job change after few months? As I think I’m lowballed here ?

When it comes to raises and inflation, have people been asking their company to cover the rate of inflation? I have been in the same company for almost 5 years since I got out of school. I am up for a raise this summer and am wondering how do I go about doing “market research” so I can have a number in mind regarding my raise. I have gotten ~5% raises every year but that will not be acceptable this year with inflation. Should I ask for 8.5% (inflation) +5%?

I just browsed through this bowl and it seems I've replied to the HR's mail with an expected CTC way lower than the market trend.
YOE - 9.1
Stack - IT/Network
Current - 7.5LPA
Expected - 18LPA (mentioned this in my reply to their mail along with all the docs).

I got re-assigned to a new performance coach this month. Today, I had a discussion with him re: my goal to get promoted this year. I showed him my performance and Professional goals with detailed action items on how to achieve them . We both agreed it’s a solid plan.. BUT he can’t assure me I’ll get promoted even if I meet all my set goals - which are based on the promotion criteria HR has circulated. I feel so helpless. I think I bombed a case interview with Chartis for an associate consultant position. The case was in excel and required me to manipulate the data via share screen with the interviewer. I couldn’t get some functions to work and was struggling to go through the 16 page PDF of data. I had several answers correct but needed to walk through the remaining questions with some guidance. My other 3 case interviews went well and I had great conversation with the partner for behavioral interview. Thoughts?
