Also cat trees (multiple) and cat shelves so the cat get up high, particularly by the windows. Jackson Galaxy has a lot of good ideas about how to “catify” indoor spaces. If you have private outdoor space, I’ve seen cool setups for catios (cat patios)- an enclosed space that allows the cat to safely experience the outdoors.

Anything interactive that can trigger hunting instincts. Feather toys, those attached to wands, robotic mice that have erratic movements, etc. Catnip is always good too!
Try this get a tennis ball and make a nice size hole, put in your cats favorite cat treats, and place the ball on the floor. The object of the game is for your cat to figure out how to get the treats out. The hole has to be big enough so when your cat bats the ball around the treats will come out.
Another idea is build a maze out of cardboard, or play find the treats around the house

I second the cat trees and cat walkways. I also keep the window open as much as possible. You could look into an outdoor catio - the cat gets to be outside but is still safe

Mine was like this. She had been abandoned & lived outside when we found her. It took a few months to stop crying in front of the door to get out, but she has mostly adjusted. I got her every kind of cat toy invented and she liked the boxes more. The best thing I've given her by far is the ball I felted out of her own fluff! She wants her luxurious coat to be brushed twice a day and I started collecting all that hair, and got a felting needle and ten minutes later I had her favorite toy ever. When she's restless the ball never fails. Cats are weird! I also have a catnip spray she likes that I use on her scratching posts. She likes novelty so I rotate her things (cat tree, bed, brush, toys) because after a couple months out of sight it's more attractive to her.
