I have received a job offer and gave them my expected salary to which the hr told it was above their budget. (Did a proper research and quoted them the range)

They gave me an offer with a difference of 1 to 1.5 lakh from what I had asked.

Any tips whether should I go with the offer they gave or still negotiate?

People managers: what does it mean when HR tells you to track all performance issues with a people who reports to you? They are on a performance improvement plan. Is this part of normal manager duties? Or will they use this to fire the person?
