I’ve been in a fog lately due to being sick/tired and made a simple error today and haven’t been connecting the dots as I usually do. My team has noticed. What should I do? I’m beating myself up.

Two things you you should do from here - Learn from the errors/mistakes and catch them before they happen again. If it keeps happening, that's when the pattern is more evident and you begin to get the error prone rep. Take care of yourself. You're not doing anyone any favors by coming in sick or running yourself ragged

Than you! I’m worried my slip ups will get in the way of getting a promotion. I’m trying not to let it get to me and focus on delivering great products

Stop worrying about it. You’re doing great! Get yourself some rest and get back to doing the great work you know you can do!

Just let it go. We all make mistakes. Especially when we’re sick and should be at home sleeping.

I’m pregnant with my first. About midway through first trimester. I’m unbelievably sick. I haven’t been able to function since week five. I barely eat. Water and a few popsicles a day. If I’m lucky a few pieces of watermelon. I’m perpetually sick, physically unable work, and struggling to care for myself. It was suggested I take short-term disability for the next six weeks to see if this gets better. Anyone done this and know how it works?
