4.5 years out of college. 3 years in consulting (out of the 4.5). In Chicago making $106K. You need to negotiate and make them pay you more. You have experience and you deserve it.
Yes. I’m in NYC, been consulting out of undergrad for 3 yrs and at 90k
Indications are yes, but your post needs wayyyy more context. Firm? Group? High/low performer? Education level?
^disregard my last question😂. Mistook this for an ACN post.
I was in DC making $96k three years out. My offer was $72k. You should ask for more or switch.
AC1 - What's your skillset?
Agree that’s more of a audit type work salary. I’m not at a big four or big three firm - working for a smaller firm in data privacy and info security
@EY damn, that’s more what I would be expecting. Maybe not as high due to chi vs nyc but at a minimum around 80
OP, Are you CDO or C&M?
What do u do OP?
I'm 1 year out of college and making $120k in a low CoL, although I have 2 years of full time experience from college. I got lucky though, my firm had an immediate need for a relatively new skillset in a tool that is booming in technology. I happened to have completed projects using the same technologies in the same industry for their clients competitors so had a lot of bargaining power.
Always know where you're trying to position yourself to be so that you have the most bargaining power. Hop firms if you aren't meeting your own expectations for your career trajectory.
That’s low. That’s about what a third year associate in audit should be making
