Ive been in engagement and digital strategy for 3.5 years and I’d like to go in-house and jump into product marketing management. Any advice? Necessary skills? Resume must haves?

I like looking at the job descriptions to see what to put on my resume, it really helps when I'm rewriting. That might be the first step?

Look for the transferable skills and emphasize those on your resume. The intersection I see between the two is the consumer research and insights. Try playing up how you’ve analyzed data to develop a strategy that led to quantifiable results (e.g. increase of app installs or a high conversion rate).

I think most digital strategists I know would really struggle in that role. Do you have an MBA or other pure business side experience? If not, be really sure you have the right skill
Set.

Anyways, I was wondering if anyone knows of a good and flexible side hustle I can do while in bootcamp so I can at least afford rent?

Hi Folks,
Having 3YoE in procurement research and now in a research team at an MBB, I feel I've reached plateau learning-wise. Have been focused in Chemical domain throughout.

I now intend to explore roles on client(Chemical Companies) side (like SCM, Planning, Strategy) but unsure how do I go about it.

What should be an ideal career roadmap for someone like me. How should I prepare/do in order to pivot towards those roles?

PS. I'm a BE Chemical Engineering, and no MBA.

TIA!
