I have received an offer in TCS accepted it and submitted the documents for BGC. The CTC i mentioned is 13L in iBegin portal and uploaded the same recent hike letter. But my current company retracted my offer of 13L and salary/payslip are with old offer and i have submitted documents with new offer letter which is 13L. I am little concerned it might impact negative on my BGC.. Any suggestions . please Tata Consultancy
Wipro Hi fishers, need a suggestion urgently. My wife Joined Wipro on 12th of Jan 2022 but till now didn't got any project. Stream is SAP Functional. Now she's holding an offer letter from Cognizant with a good package but problem is need to join by 19th of April. Is there any way to give spot resignation in Wipro? She's currently on bench.

Ask. The squeaky wheel gets the grease.
No one (and I literally mean not one single person) is going to look out for your career and your salary but you. Don’t wait for your boss to offer it. Go get it.
I’d bring it up off cycle as well. Companies can always do out of cycle pay increases or job changes for rising stars, if they want to. Ask your manager for a quarterly or mid-year review as well the year end one (whichever cadence works best) to discuss what you need to do to move up. As someone said, those who vocalize they have aspirations of being promoted the loudest tend to move up. I don’t know what your relationship is like with your GC, but perhaps you can also suggest to your boss having skip level mtgs with your GC to determine straight from the horse’s mouth what you can do or need to do. I have friends at other companies that have even threatened to leave to get promoted. THAT IS NOT MY ADVICE here, but wanted to mention that strategy works for some and not others and is extremely company specific. G’luck!
Nothing you can do about this now. But you can definitely initiate the conversation and ask in the next year going forward what can you do to better position yourself to get that promotion.
I disagree. You can at any time of the year. Even if it’s planting the seed early for next year.
