He said that the position is in the Bay Area or New York. I haven’t replied the email. I don’t think we can move to those cities, but I don’t want to lose this opportunity. Does anyone know if Google does remote jobs within US?

I kinda disagree with going to claims. I started out in claims and moved to UW. When I was in claims (WC) the case load was unmanageable. Im currently in group benefits, we have peak seasons but it pretty manageable. That’s just my experience.
Since you have an insurance background, maybe something in claims would be more your speed. Definitely less pressure in terms of production.

Claims or audit
Claims for sure! A lot less pressure and a lot less stressful I would think, although I never did underwriting.
Thanks for the replies. I don’t know if there is a job in claims where I could make what I’m currently making in life underwriting. Any thoughts/ideas on transitioning to a different field with my experience?
