I've been in my company for 4 years.
Last year got promoted to be a lvl 2 product manager with a comp. raise of ~14%.
Based on some research Im still about 10-15k off from median pay at my YOE and role. The inflation on top of that doesn't help at all and thus I'm strongly considering initiating a salary negotiation discussion with my supervisor.
Any tips or suggestions on how to go about initiating and driving this conversation?

I don’t work in big law, but some of my classmates,who are going into big law, are bragging about the low number of billable hours they are required to hit. I’m hearing 1,600-1,800 billable hours. Is this actually true? Are some firms paying Cravath and only requiring 1,600 for the year? I know it depends on the firm, but can anyone actually confirm this is their experience? If so, then I’m a little jealous 🙃

Received an offer today…really like the company and role but,
They offered me less than what I’m making now, I’m currently fully remote and this role would be hybrid, meaning I would have increased gas costs and clothing costs as well.

It's something my companies have always said yes to, with no hesitation. Plus your PTO most likely won't change until you get those tenure increases (5 years, 10 years...) so DO IT. The worst thing they can say is that it's against company policy to change PTO policy for 1 person.
