I’ve been in strategy (social and Comms) for 8 years — with each move up, I feel myself getting farther and farther away from the creative process, which is my favorite part of my job.

What roles are there that straddle strategy/creative? Is there a way to transition to a creative position — and what does that look like? From everything I’ve seen, it seems like I would have to start over at entry level Copywriter and a lateral move to a comparable Creative position is non-existent?

Had an interview for an associate position at Citi. Interviewee was based in London and I’m in NYC. The only interview time that worked was 6am. I was barely functioning and feel like I truly messed up in my answers because I couldn’t not think clearly. Been with my current company 5 years now. I run my own team but have a micromanaging boss who likes to create chaos for me. He also exhibits stalker like behavior by looking up my family online (addresses, emails, phone numbers, FB/Twitter accounts, you name it) and driving by my house and commenting on things I was doing during the weekend or after work. Hi Everyone, Started my career in government 5 years ago working in an operational role, then focussed on HR for 3 years working my way up to a middle manager role in HR as a business partner and completed my Level 7 CIPD.
