Looking for career advice!
Im a new starter in FDD as a Senior, qualified and am sitting for CFA L2. I want to make sure I'm doing everything right to maximise my chances of landing a FO role in a PE/Fund or ER/M&A role at an BB/EB.
A few I've heard so far:
- Get infra deals exp
- Network aggressively
- Leave within 1 yr

So its called the consulting trap. You start developing impostor syndrome after a point and then you commit to the partner track because you feel like you can't be successfulat another job because you have been faking it. I am with you rite where you are 5 years in here too.
All I have figured out is what we are going thru is a mindset problem lots of consultants go thru and come out of. I have not figured out how to but I have a couple of ideas. DM me if you wanna talk further.
I’m going to try and pull the ripcord and become a SA at a true tech company... if I fail I’ll probably still snap out of this phase, right?
